What this website is about

When most of us open the Bible:

We recognise the Genesis story with two main characters (God and human beings) and also a supporting cast member (the serpent). We are told about Adam and Eve eating the fruit of the forbidden tree and being expelled from the garden of Eden. The story continues when God sends His Son to save the world from Sin and Death and climaxes when He returns as Judge. Salvation through the Cross has come to be known as the Gospel (Good News). However, that is not the end of the bible story, we can look forward to even more Good News in the Bible’s story.

A lot of activity goes on behind the scenes.

  1. Did you know that there was an audience cheering when Yahweh created the heavens and the earth? Who are they and what else do they do?
    Job 38:4,7
  2. You may have heard Adam’s responsibility was to:
    • tend and keep the garden of Eden
    • be fruitful and multiply
    • fill the earth and subdue it
    • have dominion over the animals

    But do you know who is guarding the garden of Eden and why? How are God’s commands to Adam going to be fulfilled? Yahweh’s word never returns to Him empty!

  3. And then comes the surprise at the heart of this website. Yahweh made the earth for human beings to reign over and the bible tells us Why, What, Who and Where. When is the only one that He left out of His Word.

    4. The modern world trains us to organise everything by politics, markets, psychology and force. This is the opposite of the Bible’s instruction — Love Yahweh and love your neighbour.It is somewhat unsettling when we look at the way of the world yesterday, today and tomorrow. However, hope is alive and kicking; Yahweh has a plan from before time and it is well underway.

One day all the commands given to Adam will be fulfilled.

The whole world will finally be governed by human beings accountable to Yahweh. Creation will be renewed and Yahweh will once again dwell on the earth He created. That is a story that the bible also tells.
